AB  - The stability problem inherent in formulating a sterile homatropine hydrobromide ophthalmic solution at pH 6.8 can be solved by lyophilization. The lyophilized product can be stored for extended periods without degradation and when reconstituted it will provide the patient with an ophthalmic solution having maximum therapeutic activity.
