In the present work, the Technicon InfraAlyzer 400 equipped with a liquid cell, was used to obtain simultaneous assays of meglumine and meglumine diatrizoate in 30% diatrizoate meglumine injection formulations. Multiple regression techniques were used to establish the relationship between potency and reflectance data for each component through the use of calibration samples. Simultaneous assays were obtained in a few minutes using the InfraAlyzer as opposed to 2 hr required by the conventional assay techniques. Results for synthetic and commercially manufactured samples are reported. Good agreement was obtained between the conventional methods and the InfraAlyzer. %U https://journal.pda.org/content/pdajpst/36/2/71.full.pdf
