Existing "off the shelf microcomputer technology made the design of such control much simpler than developing similar control utilizing discrete electric mechanical components. Process control, monitoring, and recording is accomplished by using sanitary sensors for pressure, temperature, level, conductivity, flow, and UF absorption, whose outputs are processed by a programmable controller. Flow control is accomplished by a controller-averaged pressure signal and a feedback loop. Automatic control, monitoring, and recording address the need to design in quality, reliability, traceability, and accountability. ER -
