AB The phenomenon of back-migratory oil vapors in an industrial freeze-drier and its consequences in the freeze-dried poweder for injection are discussed. A new and simple technique for the quantification of the contamination is also described, which permits choosing the most adequate work conditions and the most efficient adsorbants for the oil vapors.
