AB A series of biochemical charts and flow diagrams for 39 commonly isolated aerobic and facultative anerobic Gram-positive rod were developed, validated, and then translated into BASIC language to be entered into the Hewlett Packard 3357 Laboratory Automation System. This specifically designed computer program is relatively simple to operate; by answering a series of questions pertaining to biochemical reactions, the identification of the Gram-positive rod is provided in a computer printout.
