Diazepam-free albumin, injected immediately after the Metrazole, also reduced seizures; albumin binds Metrazole. Heat-denatured rabbit albumin failed to elicit precipitating antibodies in the rabbit. Albumin is a suitable cosolvent for some water-insoluble drugs but probably is not cost-effective.
