AB An ultrafiltration system is used to obtain an endotoxin-free buffer for the LAL test. The procedure is combined with a kinetic LAL reaction of high sensitivity. This approach allows for the easy determination of endotoxin levels in parenterals with LAL-interfering substances, reducing the maximum valid dilution necessary for use in product development.
