AB  - A lyophilized, parenteral, liposomal dosage form was developed for an insoluble novel antitumor agent. Drug loading optimization studies were conducted to achieve 100% drug loading while reaching drug concentrations up to 1.0%. The reconstituted, lyophilized product was similar in morphology, particle size, and drug concentration to the liquid product. Systemic delivery of the dosage form to mice resulted in drug plasma levels in the range considered necessary for antitumor activity.
