Percentage Recovery of Viable Spores after Neutralisation with Modified Letheen Broth-based Neutraliser. Percent recovery is calculated based on the number of spores inoculated, which were: B. subtilis ATCC 6633: 3.3 × 108 CFU/mL, B. subtilis 168: 5.4 × 108 CFU/mL, B. pumilis ATCC 27142: 6.5 × 107 CFU/mL. Data are represented as mean ± SEM, n = 3. P-values indicate that there were no significant differences between the percentage recovery with neutraliser only compared to any of the biocides tested.
