Xanthan gum and its composite-based hydrogels
2023, Polysaccharide Hydrogels for Drug Delivery and Regenerative MedicineDifferent aspects of polymers – A review article
2022, Materials Today: ProceedingsCitation Excerpt :Many pharmaceutical scientists work together to minimize the limitation of conventional oral dosage forms by developing modified release dosage forms which are intended to develop the dosage form in which the drug release is time controlled in which its act at the specific site. It includes sustained release dosage form, extended-release dosage form and gastro retentive dosage forms [11]. Sustained and extended-release dosage forms are the formulation intended to use those drugs which have a short half-life that prolong for a long period in the stomach thus its reduce the number of doses in the patients and increasing compliance.
