Abstract
The Automatic Diffusion Tester (Millipore), Electronic Forward Flow Test Kit (Pall), and Sartocheck (Sartorius) filter test machines were evaluated for diffusion/bubble point testing of pleated membrane filter cartridges. Each machine performed according to the claims of the manufacturer and each was validated by means of simple tests. Each of the machines was unique in some particular, and each of them can be considered a useful adjunct to the evaluation and control of process filters.
